This is a quick, easy project, perfect for trying out the loop stitch and double knitting for the first time. The result is a reusable duster that fits those plastic wands with the two prongs to slip the cover over.

Any worsted weight will work - it’s been tested with both acrylic and cotton. Acrylic retains some of it’s electrostatic properties and really does attract the dust better than the cotton. Cotton works fine though, especially if you use a spray as well. Pattern also includes instructions for using t-shirt yarn.

Note - Revised version of pattern issued June 8, 2010. Corrected Row 1 of worsted weight instructions. Added missing K1 after second set of TLS2.

All comments and suggestions welcome. Big thank you to SingingCats for helping to test knit the pattern.
