Welcome to my revised ‘Easy Crochet Soaker’!

With close to 6,000 downloads this soaker has proved to be very popular.

I have now included four more sizes so that babies to toddlers can have their very own crocheted soaker.

The sizes are written to keep the same dimensions throughout. This means that the gusset measurement increases also. If you have a young or slim child, with a large rise measurement, you may wish to make the gusset smaller/narrower to avoid gaping.

I have produced a video series to accompany this pattern which is now live on You tube here

Please subscribe to my YouTube channel for updates of the new series. The pattern has being refreshed for a new generation of my family which will cover sizes newborn through to x-large.

Please check your tension/gauge BEFORE you try this pattern. If you don’t it will be massive! We want a taught, tight stitch not a loose, gaping stitch.

This pattern has been written in British Crochet

I originally wrote this pattern in response to a friends enquiry for a crochet soaker not made in the round, without short rows, but with extra room at the back to accommodate a cloth nappy.
