A simple, modern lace baby blanket for boys and girls.The baby blanket features a friendly family of elephants against a simple stocking stitch pattern with a garter stitch border. The blanket is designed to be a pram / take-anywhere blanket.

Suitable for an adventurous beginner or an intermediate knitter.

Gauge: 26 stitches and 31 rows for 10cm stocking/stockinette stitch

Yarn required: 1 ball Bendigo Cotton 4ply (670 meters).

Mummy Elephant is a modifed version of Melanie Rice’s Baby Elephant from her beautiful Elephant Vest (Ravelry/Interweave).

Errata: 1) Cast on 139 stitches. 2) On second leg of second elephant (Mummy elephant), it should read yo, k2tog, k8 from rows 1-7 and (yo, ktog)x2, k6 at row 9. A revised pdf is now available to download.
