Crochet patterns have always been in words. There was no such thing as “graphic” instructions years ago when crochet was so popular. All the books came worded with instructions. Some had a picture you could follow. Sometimes improvising was warranted when there were mistakes to which we had to “think”….not a bad thing 🙂

    Good morning all –

I like to have the charts as well, partly because I am just now learning to use them.

Older patterns as so much fun, because I sometimes have to really think and/or modify to make something work.

Perhaps someone who knows how to use charts could make this pattern and create a chart for it? That would be cool.

    Happy crocheting!

    Cathy

  3. I’m just curious as to the approximate count or the weight, in grams, of beads needed for this project – if you know. I’d love to try it but don’t want to run out of beads in the middle of a motif. Thanks.

  4. I like graphic style instructions, not wording, not everyone knows how to follow worded instructions.

  5. there is no picture to help

  6. directions are easy to follow
