This is an easy afghan based upon the quilt, “Coins Quilt”. I designed it as a scrap / stash busting quilt, but it would look lovely in a planned colorway as well.

You work 3 separate scrap panels, turn them sideways, and then work the sashing sideways with your main color.

Written for two sizes, the finished afghan size is easily customizable by adding more or less rows to the panels, adding extra rows to the sashing, or adding extra panels altogether. About 10 ounces (6 ounces scraps/4 ounces main color) will work for the small size, & 14-15 ounces (8-9 ounces scraps/6 ounces main color) will be enough for the larger version as written.

Directions are included for either joining the sections as you go, or whipstitching sections together when all the pieces are finished.
