Entwined is a very interesting piece to knit and also a conversation piece. But beware… your family and friends will want you to knit one for them. It is knit in one piece, so you never need to worry about it falling off or coming untied. It features, knit and purl stitches, I-cord and Picot Bind off Edges. It is shown knit in Classic Shades, a wool blend. But I have also knit it with cotton and it looks great over a tank top on a cool evening.

Doing the basket weave will keep your garment from rolling on the edges so blocking is not needed when done. The fingers will roll as they are knit in stockinette stitch. Rolling is good, I have not blocked any of my fingers and it looks wonderful as you want the knot to kind of get smaller when you weave it. But I have seen some that they have blocked out the fingers and it also looks nice. No knitting police here!

This pattern has written directions, not charts.

errata: In the section where it says “Divide for neck” The last row says: “Repeat Rows 85-92, six more times, ends with Row 116”. It should say: ends with row 140. Patterns downloaded after 2/14/09 have corrections on them.
