“Cyclades Vest” is a part of my “Sun and Sand” collection that takes you on a journey to hot and exotic places: a desert oasis, the shores of Mediterranean Sea, the colorful markets of Middle East, places from my childhood memories.

“Cyclades Vest” is my vision of free moving winds, long journeys, grassy hills, and of the never ending wonder of childhood.

The vest is completely seamless and is knit from top down. I have used an amazing technique developed by Susie Myers, “contiguous set-in sleeves”, that allows shaping shoulders and set-in sleeves without using short rows. Sleeves are worked at the same time as the rest of the vest.

It is a very easy pattern, great for the beginners and those that want to try contiguous method for the first time.
