This is a half crochet and half sewn project.
Dribble bibs are smaller than eating bibs, the baby or teething toddler can wear them out during the day to catch all that drool. The crochet side stops the wet fabric from making the skin sore around the neck. The more open the crochet, the better it works, so don’t crochet too tightly, or use a hook a little larger than you’d normally use for the chosen yarn. I made these up for a new family member, I’d normally use fleece for the backs, but I didn’t want to buy large quantities and I couldn’t find any colours I liked, so crochet seemed a good alternative…
