Polonaise is a doily for experienced beginner to intermediate knitters, using basic stitches in a repetitive pattern. This project takes little time, and uses under 50 yards of yarn or thread. It is knitted with double pointed needles.

Polonaise begins with a very simple yarn over pattern. The main part of the doily is easy lace work. Polonaise uses a picot bind off, and instructions are given for this method.

Polonaise is also available on the Knit Picks website, where you can find it as part of A Trio of Knitted Doilies. Rondeau Small Lace Doily and Quadrille Lace Doily are included, and the set is priced at $2.99.

Note that there is an optonal add-on pattern that uses Polonaise called Doily Hat. Doily Hat is available for free! So, if you purchase this pattern, you will be able to knit both the doily and the hat.

While you cannot make or sell copies of this pattern, you do have permission to sell your completed doilies.
