Knitted shorts are so comfortable, and these are customizable to many sizes! Worked seamlessly from the bottom-up, they’re quicker to knit than a sweater and machine washable. Knit them however long (or short) you’d like!

Note: People seem to be having issues with the shorts being too large after the leg join and in the hip ribbing (for the Dance version). When I knitted these shorts for myself, I reworked the hips multiple times until I got the right fit, and this mandated that I do lots of increases after I joined the legs. I did not have negative ease after this, but my shorts weren’t loose. However, if your gauge is a little large, or if you want a tight fit with negative ease, you might want to disregard these increases, or perhaps just do less of them. As for the hip ribbing, I would recommend making the eyelets and a tie string, as even my own shorts are a teensy bit loose up there. Thanks, and enjoy!

Sizes
A (31-32”) through H (45-46”) hip circumference.
The Dance version is more fitted, while the Lounge version is slightly looser.
