Amount of yarn: 450 m (six 75 m skeins)
Needles used: Size 10 straight needles; 1 U cable holder; stitch counter
Time: 4 weeks, working ~10-15 hours each week
Width of scarf: ~6 inches
Length of scarf: ~70 inches

Instructions
Cast on 42 stitches
Row 1: K3 P1 K6 P1 K3 P1 K12 P1 K3 P1 K6 P1 K3
Row 2: K4 P6 K1 P3 K1 P12 K1 P3 K1 P6 K4
Row 3: K3 P1 C6F P1 K3 P1 C6B C6F P1 K3 P1 C6B P1 K3
Row 4: Repeat Row 2

Repeat rows 1-4 until the scarf is the length that you want. End with row 2. Cast off.

Using the cashmerino yarn made the scarf super soft and warm (and expensive!). Make sure you cast and knit the first four rows very loosely.
C6B = cable six stitches from the back
